Begins Spring, 2009

This seven month apprenticeship meets one weekend a month from April to October. This will be an incredible hands-on experience, as we are blessed on this property with hundreds of herbs and plants with which to work and experience in all phases of their life cycle. To view a small sampling of these wonderful plants, visit the Virtual Herb Garden. In addition to this, the apprenticeship will include:

Plant Identification
Experiencing the herbs through their growing season
Herb gardening techniques and practices
Herbal Healing Preparations (teas, tinctures, oils, salves,etc.)
Aromatherapy
Study of individual body systems and related herbs
Herbal Body Care
Discount card good for herbs, oils, teas, herbal supplies, glassware and books
Certificate of Completion
Much much more!
